Free Gaza Shirt (Patric DiCaprio in collaboration with Writers Against the War on Gaza)
On the front of this t-shirt, we see an illustration of a woman’s keffiyeh-wrapped head with the words “FREE GAZA” above and عاشت فلسطين نحوّ الأنتصار دائما (“towards victory always, Palestine lives”) below. The Arabic phrase is taken from a medallion designed for the PFLP by Palestinian artist Vladimir Tamari in 1970. The illustration is based on a photograph. The identity of the woman in the photograph is unknown.
On the back, the words “from the river to the sea” appear collaged in a ’70s punk style over the shape of Palestine.
These t-shirts were designed by Patric DiCaprio in collaboration with Writers Against the War on Gaza. Design is screenprinted in red ink on white cotton t-shirts. Fit: classic, slightly boxy. Sizes: S, M, L, XL.
All proceeds will be sent to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund.
